    RD Overseas – Telling a Bigger Brand Story

    The Challenge

    RD Overseas is a well-established car accessories brand with a strong offline presence and a wide product range. But despite having 100+ innovative products, the brand lacked strong recall or recognition beyond its dealer network. The problem wasn’t product quality; it was perception. The brand needed to shift from being just another accessories manufacturer to being seen as a legacy-driven, trustworthy, and innovative brand in the automotive space.

    The Insight

    While most corporate films stick to the standard factory-and-process format, we saw an opportunity to create something more powerful and personal. The idea was to move from a product showcase to a storytelling-driven brand film that connects emotionally and builds credibility at scale.

    Our Approach

    We proposed a host-led narrative, but not with an actor or a VO artist — instead, we placed the Founder & Director of RD Overseas as the face of the brand. The decision to have the owner lead the story added authenticity, warmth, and vision to the narrative.

    The film takes viewers through RD’s journey — from its humble beginnings in North Delhi to becoming a major manufacturer in Haridwar. We highlighted key milestones, product innovations, manufacturing capabilities, and the future vision of the brand — not just what RD does, but why it does it.

    Execution

    We combined ground-level shots of the manufacturing facility with high-end drone footage, macro product visuals, archive images, and staff interactions to create a high-energy, emotional film. The tone is inspirational yet grounded, exactly how RD positions itself to its B2B and B2C audience. The film was designed for multiple platforms - exhibitions, dealer conferences, social media, and internal communication. We ensured it's tight, purpose-driven, and visually compelling across all formats.

    The film helped RD Overseas establish a strong brand identity beyond products. It was widely appreciated by dealers, partners, and new clients including the OEMs. Used actively across exhibitions, trade events, and digital platforms. Created a clear emotional connect by putting a face behind the brand.
