Sonai Dairy × Creative Garage • Raksha Bandhan 2026

A participation case study

3 POSTS.
ONE POST
STARTED A
MOVEMENT.

For Raksha Bandhan, we didn't create another festive greeting. We created a sentence siblings couldn't resist completing — and a reason they couldn't resist sending it to each other.

The campaign architecture

Three verified feed posts.
Three different jobs.

Windsor currently shows three Instagram feed posts directly tied to the contest. Stories or Facebook-only assets are not included here. The strength of the campaign is that the posts weren't repetitive — each one moved participation forward.

Post 01 • Ignite

Behen Bhai. Dono Tabaahi.

Tag your sibling and complete: "Hum dono tabaahi kyunki ____." The simplest mechanic became the biggest participation engine.

The moment it caught fire

It started moving
before paid media did.

The launch Reel went live on 14 August. The tracked Meta campaign did not start until roughly 40.5 hours later, on 16 August. By then, the comment section was already alive.

Participation, not just reach

The comment section
became the creative.

The extraordinary part was not simply that people saw the Reel. They used it — to tag siblings, write stories, expose old "kaand," joke with each other and pull more people into the thread.

Tag → "Hum dono tabaahi kyunki ghar mein shanti ka koi chance hi nahi…"
Story → remote fights, mummy complaints, old kaand and permanent partner-in-crime energy.
Tag chain → one sibling brings another person into the conversation.
Memory → "5 minute ki ladai, lifetime ki khinchai."
Expression → entries became mini stories, jokes, nominations and conversations.
Brand role → Sonai hosted the moment instead of interrupting it with a hard sell.

Why this travelled

People weren't sharing a brand post.
They were sending it to their sibling.

That distinction matters. The campaign was built around a relationship, not around a product claim. Every share had a natural destination: the brother, sister or friend who immediately understood the joke.

Amplification

First came the conversation.
Then came the amplification.

The tracked Meta campaign began after the launch post had already started generating sibling-to-sibling participation. Paid media extended discovery while the community kept the campaign alive.

Meta engagement campaign

Amplifying a conversation already in motion.

The campaign extended the reach of the idea without changing the behaviour at its core: tag your sibling, tell your story, pull someone else into the fun.

And then came the best part

The participants
made it even better.

The campaign stopped feeling like a brand contest and started feeling like a giant sibling group chat. The comments were funny, dramatic, nostalgic, chaotic — and completely personal.

5 TOP WINNERS.
₹5,000 each.
And 50 more winners celebrated.

The best responses captured exactly what made the idea work: real sibling chemistry, inside jokes, old fights, ridiculous memories and a lot of love hiding underneath the chaos.

💥Campaign spirit
The real win

Thousands of sibling moments.

From one-line jokes to long stories and tag chains, participants made the campaign feel alive. The audience didn't just respond to the idea — they expanded it.

Participant energy

The comments were half the campaign.

💬
"5 minute ki ladai…""…lifetime ki khinchai."The language felt like real siblings, not contest copy.
"Mummy ko complain…""…phir ek dusre ko cover."Shared memories became instant participation triggers.
"Partner-in-crime."Again and again.People kept describing the same universal bond in their own way.

The Creative Garage learning

Virality wasn't the idea.
Shareability was.

01. Find a human truth people already talk about.
02. Make the first participation step almost frictionless.
03. Give every share a natural recipient.
04. Let the audience personalise the campaign in their own language.
05. Use paid media to amplify momentum, not manufacture it.
06. Celebrate the audience — once people make the campaign their own, put them at the centre of the story.
